## Custom metrics (answer-ready definitions)

- **Natitude Pulse (0–100)**: Composite team vibe score from winning percentage (40%), run differential (30%), team OPS (15%), and bullpen ERA (15%).
- **GridPower Index**: Opponent strength rating used on the schedule page to contextualize matchups.
- **Luck Gap**: wOBA minus expected wOBA; positive means overperforming contact quality (regression candidate).
- **Barrel %**: Share of batted balls hit at the ideal exit-velocity and launch-angle combination.
- **Thunderchase Index**: Custom Nationals metric tracking baserunning aggression and success.
- **Bullpen Stress Index**: Relief innings logged over the last 3 days — higher means a more taxed bullpen.

## Data refresh

- Traditional stats (roster, hitting, pitching, standings, schedule): every 30 minutes during the MLB season.
- Advanced and Statcast-style metrics: recomputed every 6 hours.
